p.45 on Damen in Bucktown is hosting Chicago-based jewelry designer, Sarah Mcguire for a special viewing of her fall and one of a kind pieces. The appearance is Saturday September 24 from 11AM to 5PM. Out of her timber loft studio in Ravenswood, Sarah finds inspiration in organic forms, manmade curiosities and classic modernist design. Sarah uses up-recycled metal, primarily high-karat gold and sterling mixing it with linen, leather, rough gemstones and diamonds that are conflict-free and responsibly sourced. [Racked Inbox]
