HAMLIN PARK— Redevelopment of The Lathrop Homes is officially underway, but questions remain on the mix of subsidized and market-rate units.
LA GRANGE— An early Frank Lloyd Wright home, built under the tutelage of the firm Adler and Sullivan, hits the market. The house, while intriguing, bears little resemblance to Wright's still to come signature Prairie Style.
LINCOLN PARK— Come visit the $5 mil club and feast your eyes on a virtually unattainable property. This time it's a contemporary mini-mansion with 19' ceilings and a whole lotta bathrooms.
AWARDS— This week, Chicago's own architect Jeanne Gang brought home the coveted MacArthur Genius Grant. Gang's work has ranged from Aqua Tower at Lakeshore East to the new nature boardwalk at the Lincoln Park Zoo. Hats off to you, Jeanne!
