We recently found Vitaphenol, a unique skincare line that uses a potent blend of medically compounded super antioxidants to nourish the skin and act as preventative to future skin damage and aging of the skin. Apparently it's been on the market for a few years but it's just starting to get big in Chicago. The powerhouse antioxidants in the line are white tea, green tea, pomegranate and mangosteen, the up-and-coming antioxidant expected to soon outsell acai.
Besides the mangosteen, they've got this Cellustructure Rejuvenating Serum, which is found in most of their four step skincare regimens. The four steps being purify, tone, repair and hydrate. The Cellustructure Serum heals and repairs the skin from the cellular level rather than just at surface level and increases collagen synthesis, which restores the structural integrity of the skin and controls inflammation. Like, we asked for clinical reports and it's actually proven to control inflammation.
Right now, the only specialists we know of in the city to carry Vitaphenol are the aestheticians at Chicago Cosmetic Surgery and Dermatology on Kinzie. We know it's on the high end, but the regimens (oily, dry, combination, etc.) range from $235 to $335 or can also be bought a la carte.
