Fed Reports a "Pickup"

Out this past Wednesday, the Fed reported the sales economy in seven regions of the country grew and Chicago reported a “pickup” in the pace of growth. Retailers here said consumers increased their online shopping this year, with items such as apparel, electronics, sporting goods, hobby items, books and music selling well. [WWD]
