Contemporary artist Jack Pierson who is known for weaving autobiographical themes into his work has just completed the latest series of promotional imagery for Bottega Vaneta. The campaign will hit magazines worldwide in February. Bottega's Creative Director Thomas Maier has expressed a longstanding admiration for Pierson's work which has spanned mediums like installation, wood sculpture, painting and film. His most notable series include his Self Portrait series and appropriations of text. Maier has said the photos “capture the complexity as well as the joy of the collection,” which embraces intensely bright colors and intricate textures. When the campaign launches there will be a video available of the process of the shoot.
