Get on a plane right now and set up a tent outside of the giant cube on Place Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris. Net-A-Porter will exclusively unveil Karl Lagerfeld’s hotly anticipated new line KARL, on January 25. At this location, the cube will be officially opened by Karl Lagerfeld, revealing previously unseen film footage of Karl.
This will be the most spectacular place of five global cities where the launch is being coordinated - with the others being New York, Berlin, Sydney and London. The other locations will host the unveiling through a vinyl graphic window display which will be shoppable through the Net-A-Porter KARL App - Chicagoans get this too, but we can't scan anything, only play the tilt-board game right now - then shop later. You need to get this App.
If you feel like fying to Paris or New York (address listed in sidebar) for the launch of the window shop you'll receive a limited edition KARL goodie bag and t-shirt, with the first fifty visitors receiving a pair of iconic KARL leather gloves or a collar from the collection.
There are over 70 different pieces from the KARL collection including draped jersey dresses, classic pants, sweatshirts, skirts, shirts, dresses, T-shirts, shoes and bags - all shoppable online. Channeling Lagerfeld's distinct aesthetic, the color palette is predominantly black and white with a rock 'n' roll edge. Prices for the collection start at $25 for a canvas bag.
