Remember when United Colors of Benetton totally remodeled their store--and its gorgeous now? If you haven't been in to see it yet, this week is the perfect chance to do so. This Thursday,October 4, the store is hosting an installation in collaboration with Marie Claire Magazine and The School of the Art Institute of Chicago called The White Dress Project. This is an installation where SAIC students are exhibiting pure-white creations inside Benetton's world of colorful fashion. The initiative has been curated by Nick Cave, who you remember from his Soundsuits, South Loop pop-up shop and holding chair at the SAIC Fashion Department. Opening night from 6-8PM there will be shopping, cocktails and many young conceptualists. Space is limited so RSVP to mcevents@hearst.com. If that's not your scene, the exhibition stays up through October 11. [Racked Inbox]
