MAY WE HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE: Women and children, countrymen and frenemies, ladies and gentlemen, we are now announcing the winners of the 2012 Racked Awards for Chicago.
We've assembled the best players in industries across retail, beauty, shopping and style and grouped them in 12 categories. Half of these categories were reader's choice (up to you), the other half we've deliberated for nearly two months and employed our expert opinion to choose the winner, because after all, Chicago's only source for all-things shopping and retail is Racked Chicago.
These 12 winners work nonstop at providing the best our city has to offer, wether they're brand new or institutions; wether they have a powerhouse agency backing them or they're a mom & pop shop. It's now time to toast and roast these winners, the superheros of retail, starting first with this list of nominees and winners and later tonight with a grand gala tonight in Manhattan, New York City with our sister sites, Racked NY, Racked LA and Racked National. At this evening's grand gala, winners will be awarded a turquoise mannequin head bearing the official golden turban of the Racked Awards. Those winners who could not be in attendance tonight shall have their turbans mailed to them via carrier pigeon.
