JCPenney's really rich CEO, Ron Johnson has sent out an email to customers with a $10 coupon attached to it. In the email, he wrote, "I'd like to invite you in to your favorite jcpenney store to see the changes firsthand. As an incentive, I'm enclosing a $10 gift. Think of it as a thank-you from jcp for your loyalty through the years." We think this is a coupon, which totes negates the efforts the "no-sale-policy" as put forth since the company has redefined it's mission as a department store. The news now, is that they're looking to expand their loyalty program with "incentives" sounds kinda like a sale is on the horizon. [Racked]
