The Gilt City Warehouse Sale previewed tonight to an excited array of Chicago fashion folk. From what we saw tonight there was something for everyone. Everything across the board from $5 undies to $500 ball gowns were for sale. We wasted no time in raiding the racks and weren't disappointed as we netted some Rick Owens DRKSHDW denim and designer undies for under double digits. For the men were plenty of brightly colored shorts from what seems like a lot of leftovers from the Gilt Group summer sales and a solid selection of classic shoes. The pickings for the women had enough sequins and high heels to appease a drag queen or honey boo boo. And for those picky shoppers who somehow turned up empty handed there was a prosecco and cocktail bar waiting at hand. -Samm Mackin
