Store fixturing is an enormous part of any store atmosphere, whether it be for the long haul, a short pop-up or a few hours. Welp, this weekend, we learned that for the few hours that product from the Neiman's/Target Holiday collaboration will be available [before it presumably sells out] will be merchandised on... Ikea shelving. Truth: the team behind producing the CFDAgasmic collection's merchandising strategy chose shelving from Ikea because it's the middleground aesthetic for both store's customers. It's also easy to put together and take apart, not to mention they get to have meatballs for lunch when they go to Shaumburg to pick the shelves. [Racked Tipline]
