With a brand new store in Los Angeles, Francois Nars has put the NARS brand on the fast track for expansion. The store, which sits on Melrose opened last Saturday to much celeb fanfare and is expected to 'make bank' immediately from the cult that follows Francois.
According to an interview in WWD, Francois' strategy is to grow the brand 10 stores stronger within the next five years, with the next flagship being a San Francisco in February. After that, there will definitely be a second location in New York (the first is on Bleeker) then in the "top cities" in the US including Chicago.
