What Ikram and Linda Dresner Thought About the Paris Shows

As Paris Fashion Week peters out, WWD has talked to twenty one buyers for boutiques spanning from Moscow to Tokyo to Paris to New York. These are the most powerful buyers in the world; the most strategic thinkers and thoughtful risk takers and they've divulged what they loved seeing on the Paris runways. Two of these buyers are Linda Dresner of her namesake boutique in Birmingham, Michigan and Ikram Goldman of Ikram here in River North.

Ikram's trends were tuxedos and one-shoulder dresses, pointing out that she saw a lot of black and white and an air of couture was felt in the season. Names she's looking forward to are Nina Ricci, Junya Watanabe and Celine and Saci.

Linda's trends were the new smoking styles specifically from Celine, Haider Ackermann and Yohji Yamamoto. Names she's looking forward to seeing come int eh shop are Maison Martin Margiela, Rick Owens and Balenciaga.
