Notable residents of Chicago including Michael Jordan, Steve Harvey and President Barack Obama are big fans of the spanish shoe company Mezlan. This notable base of clientele was a key factor for opening a storefront in Chicago. This, as well as the brand's owner Antonio Sanchez, who also, according to WWD has a personal love for the city.

The 1,427-square-foot store on level 3 of The 900 Shops is stocking the Spanish leather Mezlan staples and Bacco Bucci labels, as well as leather jackets, wallets, belts, bags and a smattering of shirts. It'll be worth your while to check it out--it's a great quality product and on October 11 from 5:30-8:30 the brand is having it's grand opening event with a heavy spanish influence. Two words: Flamenco Dancers.
