Tomorrow morning, before the sun has a chance to rise, the line will be fleshed out. If predictions hold true, this will be one of the biggest launches in H&M's collab-happy history. We'll be there, shopping the Maison Martin Margiela x H&M launch every step of the way. You want to too, do this is what you do:

There are only two stores in the entire state of Illinois where the launch is happening and lucky for us, they're our usual, 840 N Michigan Ave and the newly remodeled 22 N State Street. Since both stores are selling the collaboration this time, you can choose the one which is closer to where you work. No doubt, the line at State Street will be smaller at the beginning, but if you're shopping for a thrill (or as sport), Michigan Ave is your destination.

Our best guess is to get to State Street sometime around midnight tonight or after dinner. Michigan ave, sooner rather than later- there it's 2:30PM and there are already people in line. Keep in mind, doors open at 8:00AM. At around 4:30AM is when the line will really start to become an obstacle.

420 people will get wristbands in fourteen different colors. This means the line is split into groups of 30. Each group only has fifteen minutes to shop and each person can only buy four items. These items can be the same style, say if you wanted four candy wrapper clutches or four of the red drape dress.

Because each shopper is only allowed to buy four items and there are only fifteen minutes to shop, it's a good idea to bring a friend. If You don't have any friends, make a game plan. Accessories are always a best bet and shoes are easy to make decisions on. After that, go for the dresses, tops and coats which are expected to go fast. After that, assess, edit, barter with other shoppers and pay.
