eMarketer projects that online holiday sales this year will rise 16.8% over last year, which means the chances of you staying inside and shopping online are stronger than shopping in the Loop. With great foresight to this increase, The Chicago Loop Alliance has announced the fourth annual Winter WonderLoop—which provides more than 100 special offers, events, promotions and destination ideas from Nov. 23 to Dec. 31. And new this year, pedestrians will encounter "Random Acts of Holidays" (including street performances from Goodman Theatre and Joffrey Ballet) around the Loop on Black Friday, Nov. 23, and each Saturday from Dec. 1-22.
