PRINTERS ROW—Having just celebrated its seventh anniversary, Custom House Tavern announced this week that Halloween would be its last service and that it was closing. The owners plan to focus on their new restaurants, Eggy's and Maison.

NORTH CENTER—After a six-month build out, Half Acre Beer Co. opened its new 100-seat 10-tap tap room adjacent to the production facility to showcase all the tasty suds they brew up next door.

WEST LOOP—Following a huge amount of anticipation, chef Curtis Duffy announced he'll start taking reservations on Nov. 6 for his forthcoming new restaurant, Grace.

AVONDALEHoney Butter Fried Chicken, a new concept from the folks behind underground supper club Sunday Dinner, found a location for their new restaurant and plan to open it in the spring.
