JCPenney has marked clearance items at an extra 30% off, which means this is going to be a slow and painful death. At least that's what it looks like now. That "spicy exec", Ron Johnson was called out for being a backtracking wobbler by Charles Grom, an analyst at Deutsche Bank in New York. Charles notes that JCPenney's failure to adhere to the two tier pricing system makes him "skeptical" that business is improving. [Racked]
