With an elite client book and an affinity to the winds of mystery, (just look at their vacant windows) many people have been speculating that Blake on Chicago Ave is expanding. After Alan Koppel recently moved his eponymous contemporary gallery from 212 W Chicago to 806 N Dearborn, leaving a large white shell behind. This would lend itself perfectly to next door neighbor, Blake and their minimal, high-end aesthetic. Rumors were that there was frosted white plastic covering the window and a small bit of white plywood on the wall connecting the two spaces. If this is true, and the store is expanding, this would double in square footage. At 9PM, the store is now closed but we'll check-in on the space tomorrow.
