Late last night, news broke that it was possible Blake, known as one of the coolest stores in the United States of America and being a purveyor of some of the most luxurious goods in the world, has expanded. Sure enough, the remodel in the neighboring Alan Koppel Gallery has been quietly underway for months (ninja-like), and today, the plastic is off the windows. The store is open for business, featuring brands like Balenciaga, Racquel Allegra and Dries Van Noten in more than double the space. The second side is just as contemporary as the original side featuring a thick marble ramp leading up to the second side, built-in wood filtering for handbags, a small sitting area in the back of the store and artfully-placed display fixtures.
