After 5 Years, Whimsical Candy Opens Their Own Shop

Whimsical Candy, which makes those cute nugat and dark chocolate swirls and individually wrapped caramels you see at trendy gift shops and fun foodstuff shops has officially opened their own shop. After 5 years on the West Side in a shared kitchen, Owner and chef, Chris Kadow-Dougherty opened a sub-level shop on Franklin at Couch Place in the bustling North West corner of the Loop.

Though the ooey gooey sticky treats can be found across the Northern Hemisphere, this little shop in the Loop will be the only shop to feature the limited editions with additions like almond and coconut, that the chef creates (ahem) at her whim.
