Just like Santa, the Christmas tree is an iconic part of the holiday shopping experience. The bigger, the brighter, the better. In this March Madness-style series, we're pitting the city's best Christmas trees in major shopping districts against each other and asking readers to vote which tree is the most glamorous.
For the first round, we've chosen [left to right] the colorful tree outside of The John Hancock Building on North Michigan Ave, the white light-lit tree in Pioneer Court where Marilyn Monroe once stood, and the quite obviously "home grown" tree at Christkindlmarket at Daley Plaza. Now, it's time to vote for the best.
