Tonight is your chance to see the costume designs of Atelier Azza's Azeeza Khan on stage for "Sita Ram" at the Harris Theater.
'Sita Ram," is a musical written for the Chicago Children's Choir, that reflects on the rich diversity of culture in Chicago and the world. Based on the ancient Hindu epic, "Ramayana," the production fuses the past, present and future through song and dance.
Khan, who was commissioned to design the costumes just a year after the launch of Atelier Azza, has called the experience "challenging and humbling."
It will be exciting to see what globally acclaimed Kahn brings to the stage.
"Sita Ram" will take place at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance on December 14-15, 2012. - Victoria Olivares
