Just like Santa, the Christmas tree is an iconic part of the holiday shopping experience. The bigger, the brighter, the better. In this March Madness-style series, we're pitting the city's best Christmas trees in major shopping districts against each other and asking readers to vote which tree is the most glamorous.

For the third round in our GLAM OFF contest, we've chosen hotel trees. [From left to right] the playfully colorful tree at The Drake Hotel, home to the Palm Court which has hosted countless fashion events; the stately red tree at the Four Seasons (killer hot cocoa here) surrounded by orderly gift boxes and The Peninsula's tall, fresh tree with voluptuously streamed ribbon running to the base.
