Hot bodies and the hot fusion workouts that shape them have been the go-to fitness regimen for celebs and others for years now: The Lotte Berk method, Barre method, celeb fave Physique 57, Exhale's stellar Core Fusion and its iterations, and now on its second Chicago locale, the Dailey Method. Tami & Brett Conway's The Dailey Method has already taken Bucktown and Wicker Park residents by storm, but will soon be crossing zip codes to the 60614.
The Dailey Method will lease space in the Belden Plaza on Belden and Clark. LP and former Francis Parker School alums know it well-- it was the home to Tower Records, where many school lunch breaks were spent. The plaza has had a bit of an interesting history, from what we've seen. As recently mentioned, back in the 90s, one of its main tenants was Tower Records. On the lower level, there was a casual Italian restaurant and pizzeria. There was also a knick knack and jewelry store. In more recent years, we've seen one of the spaces rented out for a Skinny Cow and Warner's bra promotional tour event. Yeah, we know what you're thinking...the Plaza's a bit ADD, but we certainly hope that the new Dailey Method will flourish in what seems to be an ill-fated space.
The studio space will feature floor-to-ceiling windows, locker room and spa, a kids room that will offer childcare for DM-going parents; a store of the latest and greatest fitness apparel, and onsite parking. Ka-ching! It can't get any better than that. Expect the doors to fling open on Jan. 15.
