Last Saturday was the last day for a barbershop in Andersonville named Gold Crown. The neighborhood's token gay barber, Rex was a neighborhood fixture for several years because of his bargain basement prices, no frills cuts and so-cute-you-want-to-eat-it-in-one-bite storefront. Aville Daily wrote a little blurb about it and a commenter named "Candy" wrote in the comments section (at 12:13AM) "I have a very good feeling that something fantastic will POP into this space in the very near future?" And then before you knew it Aville Daily reported the space will be filed by Pop Salon.
