At chit-chatty breakfast earlier this week, we heard something that gave us chills and nearly brought tears to our eyes. Taking a short break from oatmeal with fruit, we stopped to ponder for just a moment. Is Christian Louboutin moving into the West Loop? Is the fancy french heel brand still eyeing Chicago - or is it still just a fantasy? The sketchy logic (or truth?) came from an industry insider considering the flurry of upscale activity in the Fulton Market District. We've got The Soho House coming and a bunch of new restaurants... the only thing missing is stylish retail. And then we remembered a similar drunk conversation a few months back at an Emmy Nomination party with another industry insider... who also mentioned by Louboutin by name. Coincidence?
