Chi-city's hometown hero, Cynthia Rowley was quoted backstage before her show this past week as being inspired by the ease of a coverall, looking toward the one piece and jumpsuits commonly found in the mechanical industry.
The looks incorporated colorful kaleidoscope patterns of tortoise shell, as many looks were set off with girly accessories like baubles. This seems to have been a theme that Rowley has always come back to in different collections- for example her Genuine Article Tool series and tool belt.
