If you went to MAGIC at the Las Vegas Convention Center this year, Justin Pierce, aka J. Pierce, a 22-year-old street artist from Chicago (now living in Vegas) created a 16-foot mural in the Young / Contemporary section. He's known for his colorful Keith Haring-esque graphic style, with more contemporary movement and more detailed line work and fresh and lively colors.
His work stems from a point of independence and realization of hardship. He says he's found a passion in art, designing clothes and creating artwork to interact with peoples emotions. J. Pierce has recently moved into the retail territory of licensed collections of T-shirts, hats and lace-up and slip-on shoes.
