Vera Wang has just opened her newest gallery-like boutique on Rush Street at Oak. The subdued dark atmosphere, black leather furniture, and small unobtrusive textures with overhead spotlighting lends itself beautifully to showing the celebrity inspired gowns. The 5,000 square-foot gallery showcases each dress as it's own morsel of luxury, dripping with ivory lace, silk tulle, organza, and hand beaded details. Though the intensity of the price tag on one of Vera's dresses can give some Fathers of the Bride heart palpitations, the craftsmanship is unparalleled and can be downscaled to any proportion of fabulousness.
