Recently while shopping at Racked 38 Member, Morlen Sinoway Atelier, right after we gander at the vintage Air Jordans, we hone into to a wearable art piece made of red baubles hanging on the wall. This is actually a piece by Katja Prins with Droog design collective. The piece is called Bound by Blood and brings together and mixes various prayer-necklaces created out of wood, which only differ in details. A contemporary blood red jewel is created, referring to our mutual bond as well as to the blood shed in the name of a religion.
