Last week at ENK Vegas, a retailers trade show where many Midwestern buyers head to shop for their spending public, the mood was all about novelty fabrics like metallic snake-print, stretch velvet, paisley-printed velveteen and digitally printed denim and the fit leaning toward form-fitting. We hear, among other Chicago retailers at the show, Akira danced around and bought along the lines off these trends from Citizens of Humanity, Mink Pink, James Jeans, Agave Denim and Hunt No More.
