UlLTA's Atopalm: Sounds Weird, Does Good Things for Your Face

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Suburban Chicago-based ULTA has got a new breakthrough skincare collection that just hit the shelves. Atopalm is a dermatologist-tested line that is specifically made for people with damaged and sensitive skin. Think eczema, rosacea, sunburn. Every product uses (this is where we get all science-y) an advanced MLE-Multi Lamellar Emulsion formulation that uses plant-derived ingredients to mimic skin’s natural lipids structure. So basically, it's nourishing and calming at the same time. Products in the line that ULTA picked up are the body cream, body lotion, undermakeup moisturizer, facial cleanser, eye repair serum, skin complex, hand treatment and cleansing wipes.
