Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Check out this futuristic chrome necklace we found at Racked Award Winner, Lissa. Made by Vienna-based Florian Ladstaetter under the label FLorian, this piece is a chunky sculptural statement necklace for someone who is adventurous with adornment. Florian is known for his metalwork, which can be seen in this chrome bone and horn necklace, but he's also known for his knowledge of philosophy and collaborations with chandelier maker, Lobmeyr, Elizabeth Arden and Hussein Chalayan - which definitely warrants the $625 price tag.
