Obama's favorite Sunday hangout and a source for the rarities of the literary world, Powell's Bookstores are opening their third location on Halsted just south of Roosevelt in the middle of the UIC Campus. The location, previously Chicago-owned Barbara's Bookstores only took about a month to whip into shape as the store will have their soft opening this Friday March 2nd.
