During the Renaissance, a Spanish wit quipped that there wasn’t enough cork in all of Spain to outfit the ladies at court with towering chopines — the “it” shoes of the day. Although Coach didn’t invent platform shoes, we can’t imagine a collection without them. This spring, Coach gave them an archival look with brass rings, bold buckles and natural cork heels.
