The Edit adds Helena-Quinn to Designer Roster

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Since the opening of The Edit back in October, we'd like to update you with a new brand they're carrying - they're based in the US and make perfect coats for an unpredictable springtime in Chicago. The line is Helena-Quinn out of LA that instantly recalls the glamour and sophistication inspired by the traditional and iconic Swing Coat.

Inspired by the all-encompassing nature of coats, designer Andrea Racey set out to create a collection for today's modern woman that delivers classic construction with a high level of functionality, not often found in a standard issue coat. The collection has both light and mid weight styles that are seasonally ambiguous, and perfect for Spring.

With an affordable price tag of $99-$300, the designer was clear that she wanted a lifestyle collection that could instantly make a woman feel chic, pulled together, and confident, without breaking the bank.
