Boris Powell to Show at River East; Launching Men's

Chicago-based designer Borris Powell has announced his Fall / Winter collection will debut Sunday March 18 at The River East Art Center. The collection which he's calling Without a Shadow of Doubt will feature ready-to-wear pieces, handbags, accessories and for the first time ever; menswear.

In a conversation with Borris this afternoon, he tells us that his menswear collection is very tailored and is concentrated in suiting. There are several coats and top coats in dark colors. Borris used a lot of black, chocolate and rustic colors. The ten looks will include Borris Powell ties, bowties and shirts.

Hhosted by Marcus Riely and Candace Jordan, General tickets are $40 while VIP tickets are $110 which get you a gift bag, cocktails and a reserved seat.
