RIVER NORTH—After nearly 15 years, Suzy Crofton closed her restaurant, Crofton on Wells, after service last weekend. She hopes to reconcept and open a new eatery.

OAK PARK—The owners of Bleeding Heart Bakery announced this week they'd be closing their Oak Park location, citing a flight of customers to their Elmhurst location and health issues.

WICKER PARK—Looks like Pizano's is bringing its deep dish pizza to the former Crust space, which closed on New Year's Day.
