This past Monday April 16, at the lovely home of Maria Smithsburg, hosted by Laurie Davis and Susanna Negovan, 30 fashionable women gathered to sip Champagne and meet the minds behind the new documentary, which made its US Premiere in Chicago Tuesday night, God Save My Shoes. Producer Thierry Daher as well as the director Julie Benasra were interviewed and partook in a Q&A led by Susanna Negovan taking insight into the behind the scene events, production details and how the concept began.

The film focuses on women and their relationships with their shoes. Starring Kelly Rowland, Fergie, Dita Von Teese, Christian Louboutin, Manolo Blahnik, Pierre Hardy, Bruno Frisoni, Walter Steiger, Monica Von Neumann, Beth Shak, Elizabeth Semmelhack, Filipa Fino, Meghan Cleary, Nikki Schiro , and Marshal Cohen. All proceeds raised from the private Q&A are donated to the Service Club of Chicago.
