On May 17th in 2002 when many small business owners found themselves sinking, there was a little shop in Lakeview named Krista K that in its own perseverance, in it's own right had designers to celebrate and kept growing. In their first, second and third expansion the store expanded their selection of denim, maternity and womenswear, added baby gear and accessories and launched e-commerce to reach its place as a Chicago fashion fixture nestled away on Southport.
For Krista Kaur Meyers, owner behind the two successful boutiques and mother of three young children, the success can be attributed to her business-minded background and the ability to target and tackle trends and change with the industry. As Krista K celebrates their 10th year in business this month look for a slew of sales and and one hell of a celebration the third weekend of the month.
