This year, SAIC's THE WALK (yes, it's all caps) was a stellar showing of unbridled creativity under one massive tent that will launch the professional careers of many young designers. All this comes at a price though - we're not talking blood sweat & tears, we're talking cold hard cash. Through the Racked tipline, we've learned people believe they spent three times as much as they made. THE WALK cost $180,000 to produce and the first three runway shows of the day cost $160,000 to produce. Ticket sales this year were $114,000. [Racked Inbox]
