CHICAGO LIVE!, with its weekly gathering of newsmakers from all facets of Chicago life is starting its new season on Thursday, May 10 at 7 p.m. at UP Comedy Club in Second City. It's described by critics as "the best happy hour in the city" sooo pretty much like if Jools Holland and Ellen DeGeneres had a radio show in Chicago, that was all about Chicago. Famous guests from past seasons have included the Mayor, Buddy Guy, Cookie Monster and Lupe Fiasco.
The 2012 season (May 10-June 28) is going to be no-less smashing with a few notable guests to the likes of Billy Corgan of the ' Pumpkins on June 28 with his favorite photographer, Art Shay, then on June 14 David Ellis from the Blago trial, and on May 17, the one and only Ikram Goldman will take the airwaves. If you want to catch it in person, fret not, tickets just went on sale.
