Maria Pinto & CS Host A Fashionable Benefit for Ky Dickens' Film

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Two of Chicago fashion's most notable entities, CS and Maria Pinto, join forces to fundraise for Ky Dickens' film Sole Survivor, and its post-production and promotion. The film follows George Lamson, the only survivor of Galaxy Flight 203, on a mission to seek out and connect other plane crash sole survivors. Morbid, we know, but at least there's a party--depression NOT allowed.

The whole shindig goes down next Tuesday, May 29 at the Dana Hotel's Vertigo Sky Lounge from 6-9PM hosted by Tres Awesome and the one and only Kristen Kaza. Food and cocktails by Farmhouse, and craft beer supplied by Magic Hat. There will also be an auction of mile-high proportions of fashion, jewelry and art. Dubbed The Height of Fashion, We're sure Ky Dickens' film will take flight.

Other interesting tidbits to note: If you're an artist or student, ticket prices for the event are only $35. If you're anyone else, $50 should take care of it. Buy tickets now on Brown Paper Tickets. - J'nai Gaither
