Young and forward, Julius LaCour isn't done pushing back the formal ideas of menswear. For the past few seasons we've perused his lookbooks with a sense of wonder and the one he just released is aiding his menswear game with a heavy new concept. Today, we're delighted to share with you the new Fall 2012 menswear collection from Maison De LaCour.
The inspiration behind the collection is the act flagellation or flogging, whipping or caning someone. A somewhat uncomfortable conversation topic, Julius explores the act through its history by using a printed fabric, somewhat violent black pieces and ending on an all red look. The look book features model Charlie Wood shot by Escalante. Look for the first photos of his women's collection sometime next week.
