Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Our sister site Curbed has just announced that Chicago's own, Nate Berkus is Target's latest home design partner. The Chicago-based guru of the interior (also Brian Atwood's ex) instagrammed a detail photo of the collection just after Target reps sent an email announcing the retailer's plan to add a "Midwest-born designer" to a roster that has historically included Todd Oldham and, at least until the end of the year, Michael Graves.
The Berkus collection of a seemingly staggering 150 products will include the categories of bedding, bath, lighting, rugs, and window treatments. The potentially chevron-laden collection will hit stores in October and range from $5.99 to $149.99.
