For about a week, Chicago-based Crescendo Apparel has been graciously pulling out and retiring their stance as the independent purveyor of pear shaped clothing for women. As we heard this past weekend, there will be no more for the company from here on out.
On April 30, the company decided to cancel the rest of their trunk shows, fashion shows and let their employees head home. The website and shopping cart is still functional for the time being, selling their flirty spring merchandise like colorful patterned maxis, jackets, tops and fun fitted skirts for curvy women.
