Alden of New England is a company that we've loved for most of our young adulthood and understood as a sturdy, classic and intelligently crafted shoe. While there aren't too many places in The Chicago to find 'em, there are a few shops you should keep in mind who have the largest selection of styles to choose from.

The first is Hanig's Footwear, specifically the location in the Hancock Building who carries 17 styles with four new (or updated) styles this season. If you're in the mood for something beyond that selection it'll take three weeks to see 'em in Chicago. The second largest selection is Haberdash EDC who just started carrying the brand last November. EDC sports a roster of 14 styles featuring the newest Black Indie Boot, which Hanig's is not stocking this season. However, if you live more northerly and don't feel like braving the EL to the Loop you can find the Black Indie Boot for $435 at Chicago's third largest stockist of Alden, Isle of Man on Lincoln in Lakeview.
