Burlington Coat Factory Coming Just in Time for Fall

Everyone knows the jingle: "Burlington Coat Factory--we're mooorrreee than great coats!" And now everyone in the downtown area will have a chance to shop there. Burlington Coat Factory leased the recently vacated Filene's Basement space at 1 N State, and will occupy the lower level of the space, taking up about 60,000 square feet. There are 14 Burlington locations in the Chicagoland area, of which 10 are suburban and four are in South and West neighborhoods of the city. Filene's, the previous tenant at 1 N State, held a long tenure at the location, so maybe Burlington will have a chance. The Loop locale is set to open sometime this fall.
