FULTON MARKETThe Aviary's exec chef Craig Schoettler was fired earlier this week and its news has caused a hailstorm of comments on Eater.

ALONG THE LAKE—If you plan to hit the beach at all this summer in Chicago, you'll want to check out Eater's just-released guide to drinking and dining along the lakefront.

GRANT PARK—The lineup for Lollapalooza's 2012 Chow Town is out and Graham Elliot has tapped a pretty eclectic group of restaurants to represent Chicago.

WICKER PARK—With the Bedford now a little more than a year old, its team is opening The Carriage House just up the street, where chef Mark Steuer will craft a menu based around South Carolina Lowcountry cuisine.
